How to Use BillEase

As a first-time BillEase customer, you might find the how’s and why’s a little bit overwhelming. After all, this might be your first time using an installment service. Perhaps you’re used to a different loaning process.

No worries, we’re here to help! If you need help in applying to BillEase, here’s a step-by-step guide that’ll help. But if you need help navigating our availment process here are a few important and helpful reminders for a first-time BillEase customer.

YOUR CONTACT DETAILS SHOULD MATCH

One of the first things you need to do when applying for BillEase is to register an email address and a contact number. These will be our primary channels of communication with you regarding updates, your due dates, and even promotions!

But here’s an important reminder: your contact details in both your BillEase and Lazada accounts should match. Why? Because in actuality, the process of sending funds to your Lazada Wallet is a collaborative effort between Lazada and BillEase. In this collaboration, we will need to make sure that we are dealing with the same account, and the easiest way to confirm that is to check for the same contact details per customer.

Besides, it also helps us prevent any instances of fraud or identity theft that may pose as a threat not just to your overall user experience but also to your data privacy as well!

Side Note: What happens if your contacts don’t match? Will you be able to request for a top-up?

The short answer is yes, you will still be able to request a Lazada Wallet Top-Up even if your contacts don’t match.

HOWEVER.

You will also not be able to receive the said top-up. As mentioned earlier, Both BillEase and Lazada need to make sure that the same person owns both accounts. If unable to confirm this, Lazada will not be able to credit the funds to your account and you won’t be able to use it.

DOUBLE CHECK YOUR AVAILMENT METHOD

Customer guide for BillEase installments

For some customers, the only way to withdraw their BillEase credit limit is via Lazada Wallet. But for a small group of our customers, they can also withdraw their cash limits via the new BillEase Cash Loan feature.

If you’re one of those who can avail their cash limits via our cash loan feature, it’s best to double check your default availment method before finalizing your availment! The default method is always Lazada Wallet, so you will have to change your setting to Cash Loan whenever you want to avail the feature.

ALL FUND DISBURSALS ARE AS GOOD AS CASH

If you make a mistake in selecting your preferred availment method, will you be able to edit or cancel your loan? Do Lazada Wallet/Cash Loan funds expire?

The simple answer to these questions is… no.

Our fund disbursals, whether via Lazada Wallet or Cash Disbursals are considered as good as cash. Meaning, once they’ve been requested, we can no longer take them back. This is why we always remind customers to double check their account details and availment methods before signing your contract!

This should go without saying, really. As a responsible first-time BillEase customer, it falls to you to read and understand our terms of conditions before signing your contract. After all, once you’ve signed your contract, all your settings become finalized.

How to apply to BillEase Installment


But don’t worry, we made it easy for you to do just that with our clear, concise, and easy-to-understand contract. You won’t find complicated financial terms and mumbo-jumbo here. BillEase is all about accessibility and transparency.

In our contracts, we break down your payment schedule, amount due, corresponding penalties for late payments (not that we encourage you to be late – remember that serving your installment faithfully can help you increase your credit limit!), and other relevant information.

Signing your contract means you have read and understood these terms and conditions, so make sure you actually do!

    Good Day!

    Thank you for the approval of my application. However, I can’t use it because you have a credit limit. I was expecting that i can purchase the item I like to. I am writing to you asking for your help regarding on an item that I would like to purchase in Lazada.com.ph. I sent my application hoping that I can avail the 18 months installment plan on the particular item that i wanted to buy. But it seems like my expectation didn’t meet. Is there any possible way that I can avail for the 18 months installment?

    The item I would like to purchase is the MSR Elixir 2 – 2p tent with footprint 2018 Edition worth Php13,990.00.

    1. Hi Ronel!

      Here in BillEase, we give all customers a credit limit which they can use to purchase items from Lazada. First-time customers are also given a maximum of three months as their installment terms. However, as customers grow their relationship with us through continuous availment of their credit limits (while paying on time!), we also continuously grow their credit limits and extend their maximum installment terms.

      So as for your request to extend your installment terms to 18 months, we apologize but this is not something we can do right now. Thank you very much!

  2. Until now my application is still under review. Its been weeks now! And CS dont even reply on my emails.

    1. Hi Enrico! Upon checking, you have multiple accounts in BillEase. It seems that you are trying to reapply for a credit limit, but your newer accounts have been automatically deactivated by our system as part of our security protocol. If you wish to reapply, kindly login to your original account under [email protected] and click the Reapply button from there. Thank you.

  3. Hi! my application was already approved but sad to say that I cannot used it, how can i get that Lazada top up? how can I cash in in my lazada wallet. Please help. Thanks

    1. Just please claim your credit limit. Make sure also that you activated your Lazada Wallet. We will disburse your top up with the same email address. So please make sure that when you log in to lazada you use the same email address you used.

    1. Once you’ve got your credit limit in your Lazada Wallet. You can now purchase any physical goods within your credit limit.

  6. Hi! I couldn’t finish my claim since after inputing the OTP, it always says Access Denied, pls Relogin. Could be in the change of primary email, but I changed it because I realized the email address I use in my Lazada account didn’t match the email address I signed up for Billease.

Hello, Good Day, I would like to message your office that I already recieved the email confirmation message that says I have recieved the topped up amount of my Loan, BUT the thing is, the amount Is not showing on my E wallet in Lazada.     1. Hi Alicia, BillEase is not a cash loan. It’s an installment plan. You can use your installment through lazada wallet, gcash top up, booking flights with tripmoba or purchasing at hubware. Thanks! 🙂

  10. Your penalty of P50 a day is too much. This will be my last time using your service and expect a blog post from me. Your agent promised me to have P15/day penalty but when I pay I got P600 penalty for 12 days. How can you do that to an already struggling and loyal customer? Totally unacceptable. Goodbye. Time to write my own blog post about this rip-off.
