IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR Billease CUSTOMERS

We recently received reports from customers who have been scammed by fraudsters posing as “traders” on social media platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok.

Beware of these scammers that may attempt to trick you into converting your Billease credit limit into cash. These individuals are NOT legitimate merchants, and such transactions are not authorized or protected by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). Unfortunately, customers who have authorized such transactions are still responsible for repayment.

As such, be reminded that engaging with these scammers can lead to severe consequences:

Financial Loss: You risk making a loan with no guarantee of receiving any money in return, essentially paying for something that doesn’t exist. Never scan QR codes from suspicious individuals on social media.

Account Suspension: Participating in these unauthorized transactions can result in your account being suspended, preventing any future transactions. Your account may also be blacklisted across other fintech platforms after reporting to the authorities.

Remember: Never share your OTP (one-time password). Billease will never ask you for your OTP. Do not share your OTP with anyone, as it can compromise the security of your account.

Treat your Billease account with the same care as your bank account. Always transact with verified merchants to ensure your security and protect yourself from fraud.
